1990

Pastor Tom and Charlotte felt God leading them to build a multi-cultural church that brings spiritual impact to the city and community of Longview, Texas. With a church growth strategy to reach those who need Christ and to elevate their lives through discipleship and training. Their desire was to CONNECT people to God and Godly relationships, so they may DISCOVER their God-given purpose and potential, so they may know where and how to SERVE God and His body, which will ELEVATE every aspect of their lives!

2005

In 2005, after prayer and confirmation, Pastor Tom and Charlotte felt God leading them to move forward on the beginning stages of the Lifebridge church plant in Longview. A Thursday night bible study was started at the Ramada Inn, with an attendance growth of 25 to 75 within just 10 weeks and they quickly moved to a Sunday service on June 25th, 2005. The growth continued, and within 24 months attendance was up to 200.

2007

In 2007, lifebridge purchased 23 acres and began to moving forward with the building of their church building. January 3rd, 2009 was the first Sunday Service at 2022 Alpine Rd with nearly 500 in attendance, and it still alive and thriving today. We continue to seek out the will of God for the community of Longview and stay excited for the plans that are unfolding. We would love for you to stop by for a visit and experience what God is doing!
