Prefacing Statement: 1. Leader Qualifications A. Has a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ. B. Recognizes the Bible as the sole authority of your life. C. Agrees with the Lifebridge Statement of Faith and vision plan. D. Is an active Vision Partner with Lifebridge through faithful service and financial contribution. E. Possesses the emotional capacity and moral discernment to lead a group. F. Has fully completed "Starting Point" – (new name for idiscover) G. Currently has no habitual struggles or immoral behaviors (i.e. alcohol, drugs, pornography, cohabitation, etc.). H. If married, the marriage and family structure is considered healthy and whole. I. Willing to agree to a background check and personal interview with family members.
A. Lead the group by facilitating the group meeting, monitoring its health, and promoting participation among group members. B. Commit to attend leadership development opportunities provided by the church. C. Commit to attending First Wednesday and holding your group meeting at least twice each month. D. Identify, develop, and maintain a qualified apprentice at all times. E. For married connect groups, both husband and wife actively participate in all group leadership activities. F. Commit to meet with your coach and the Connect Group Pastor as required. G. Faithfully submit all monthly reports and database updates. H. Be faithful in upholding the Connect Group Core Values.
